Sunday

Holy Eucharistic Liturgy (9am GMT/BST): The central worship service held each Sunday. The oblation is a service offered up by the clergy to heaven, through material elements, in hope of forgiveness of sins and of an answer to prayer.
Sunday School (Assyrian & English classes, during the Holy Eucharistic Liturgy): These are small classes designed to develop and nurture young children to have a basic knowledge of God and to prepare them for the central worship service held each Sunday. Held in classrooms on the first floor of St Marys Cathedral.
Monthly English language Eucharistic Service (5pm GMT/BST): The Holy Eucharistic Offering in English is held at St Mary’s Cathedral every month. For details concerning the next service, please contact us on stmarys@acote.org.uk.

Assyrian Bible Studies – ages 16+ (7:30pm GMT/BST): The collective group study of the Holy Bible including questions and fellowship in Assyrian.

Tuesday

English Bible Studies – ages 16+ (7:30pm GMT/BST): The collective group study of the Holy Bible including questions and fellowship in English.

Wednesday

Choir practice (7pm GMT/BST): The cathedral choir is directed by Mrs Ashtar Abraham and practices take place weekly. If you would like to join, please send an email to stmarys@acote.org.uk.

Friday

Children Bible Studies (6:30pm GMT/BST): The collective group study of the Holy Bible including discussions, questions, activities and fellowship. Held in the English and Assyrian languages for all preschool and primary aged children (3-11).
Junior Youth Bible Studies (7pm GMT/BST): The collective group study of the Holy Bible including discussions, questions, activities and fellowship. Held in  English for all high school students (12-15).

Membership and online services

At St Mary's Cathedral, the annual contribution (formerly known as membership) is up to the discretion of the member - 2 Corinthians 9:7, 'Each one must do just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.' May God accept your donations and hear your prayers.

Edessa Assyrian Language School

We are excited to announce that our first day of teaching will be on Saturday 7 May 2022. Assyrian classes run every Saturday from 11am until 2pm at the ASUK (1 Temple Rd, London W5 4SL). We thank the ASUK for their support in allowing us to use the premises to host the classes.

Annual contribution for enrolment (less than £1 per week, to help cover teaching materials and extra costs):

First child: £50
Second child: £40
Third child: £30
Fourth child: £20
